A miscarriage occurs when a pregnant woman spontaneously loses the fetus she was carrying. It can happen for MANY reasons. Usually it happens early in pregnancy. Many times the woman does not even know she is pregnant and just thinks she is having a heavy period.

when the baby dies inside the mom b4 its born. usually due to injury
