i want to lose 10 pounds and start tomorrow. so please anyone please tell me what i should do, i was thinking of starving myself, but i want to do it in a healthy way?

i knwo its better to have 5-6 meals a day to lose weright, but what if you can't do that? i can only eat three meals a day. is that still gonna be ok if i want to lose weight? I have marchin practice aftr schopol till 8:00 evry night, then i go home and go on the treadmill ad deo puishups and situps about 20-30 minutes on weekdays.

i've always wondered, back then when pads and tampons werent invented how did girls/women handle their periods, like what did they do?
i dont know what i would do if i got my period and nothing to use it with.
i always thought they liked stayed in their bathtube until it was over.

14 years ago i had a tooth pulled.and the gum has been like a little bubble ,red,and hurts to touch.cant even brush it .gotta chew on left side. well it started hurting really bad so i go to a dental clinc. i told him dont touch it,but he stuck that little metal thing right in it. it hurt so bad, i fell outta the chair ,started crying. he got mad ,said its ginsavitis. but you cant just have ginsavitis for 14 years in the same little spot???well now part of the bump is black from where he poked me. like its brused or dying?? can someone please help me ID whats been going on,or what it is. 14 years ago the dentice did a biophys on it. cut half of it off. they didnt know what it was then and i guess they dont know what it is now. and i dont know anymore. what could this thing be? nothing will numb it not even novocaine. its a sharp pain allmost like a nerve ?

I was on primolut 5mg for 3 weeks that the doctor prescribed as my period would not stop. I stopped taking the primulot 8 days ago and still haven't got a period. The doctor told me it should start within 2 to 3 days, but 8 days later I'm still waiting (not like I'm in a hurry for it to happen but it's got me worrying!) I did a pregnancy test this morning to see if that was why but it was negative.

Can someone explain what is going on please??

Having severe pains in side, below breast bone, in rib cage, pain on left side. Saw a doctor nothing done about pain, had pain on and off for over a year now and cannot take the pain any longer and want to get this resolved. Could it be a popped rib or worse? I have horner's eye (syndrome) due to the doctors damaging a nerve(s) during surgery about 6 years ago. One of my pupils is bigger than the other, and although my eyes are naturally green, sometimes one of my eyes appears blue. I can see fine.

I was wondering if there is any way to make it seem my eyes are the same size. I know I should be happy with the way I am, but this is pretty much my biggest peeve. If this went away, I'd be satisfied (pretty much). My mom says no one notices my eyes, but people ask me about them (I'm a sophomore if this helps).
Any suggestions? I know there isn't any surgery. It was nerve damage that caused it so it pretty much can't be fixed.

The only bread I eat and I think I like is white bread. I want to go back on my diet and when I was on it before, I eliminated bread from my diet all together. I really do not want to do that this time so does anyone know of a bread that would be better and healthier to eat?

Do any of you have this problem? I had it for years and years, and finally found out what the problem was -shampoo and conditioner that I used in the shower! Once I started putting my head forward and shampooed in that position so that the shampoo and conditioner would not flow down my back or front to those sensitive body parts, the symptoms of lichen sclerosis went away. I'm posting this because it was something very simple that I wish I had thought of a long time ago. Now I either shampoo in the forward position or shampoo in the kitchen sink, but NEVER put my head back and shampoo that way. I also am using a glycerine, unscented soap for bathing. Only $.99 and Smart & Final or equally as cheap at Food Max, or Longs. Just FYI -hope it helps.

I took an online quiz, which I know isn't as nearly accurate as a doctor but alot of the symptoms of which they asked have applied to me. Such as feelings dizzy or and an abnormaly high heart beat. I'm such a worrier but I thought that was just the way I am, but I really think its something more serious then that. I have recently talked to a psychologist and I was told I may have OCD. I have had images of hurting loved ones, sexual images with the opposite sex and children, and guilt, along with fears of being alone and not truly loving the person that I am with. Is this common for OCD victims?

my teeth hurts.. is my first pre molar on my left side on the top.. it feels like it has to come out.. but it isn't loose.. i already lost all my baby teeth. Whats going on? I was diagnosed with somewhat large cysts on both ovaries this summer. One cyst is complex (which means it could be an endometrioma or a dermoid cyst) and the other looks like a large fluid or blood filled cyst but they don't know for sure. The doctors are recommending surgery but I don't want to try surgery as of yet. I am currently on birth control pills to help with cysts and I also am going to try some natural therapies from a licensed Naturopath. I have a question for you guys. Should I continue taking the birth control pills along with the herbal and Chinese medicines or should I stop the birth control pills and just take the natural remedies? I began the pill in late August and if actually feels as if one of my cyst has grown larger since then. I also have some breast tenderness. A lot of people say that birth control pills are "toxic" and if I'm going to do natural medicine, then I should just do that. What do you all think? Any advice would be much appreciated.

What should i do? I love cutting. Ive been cutting sence i was 13, three and a half years. I dont' want to stop. its how i cope. I dont cut deep enough to be dangerous. HE's just paranoid... I dont' want my mom to know, because she will send me away to bording school or something. and I cant live with out him. Not even for a little while. He promises he wont leave me, no matter what, but she will send me away if she finds out. she doesnt' understand me. She thinks im this huge disappointment because Im no pretty and popular. She thinks i should be this picture of the perfect teen girl, skirt and pink blouse and blond hair. She thinks im trouble just because i listen to loud musid and wear black clothes. SHe has given up on me. this would just be a good excuse to get rid of me by shoving me in a girls home somewhere

I got my back brace on August 9, 2007. About a month ago. I have to wear it 16 out of the 24 hours a day. I get 8 hours free of it everyday, which is a good thing. On August 20, 2007... I had to go my orthopedic and get an X-ray with the brace on to see if the brace is helping with the curve. I had a 30 degree curve on the top of my spine, and with the brace on... my curve decreased to 16 degrees! On the bottom of my spine, I had a curve of 21 degrees and it decreased to 2 degrees! I have to go back in about 2 1/2 months so they can take an X-ray of me WITHOUT the brace in to see if my spine is staying like this even without the brace on. I have to take it off 24 hours before the appointment so my back muscles can relax. I'm really nervous that my back will go back to the bad degrees for that appointment and I will need surgery! I get this brace off in about 2 years. Will I need surgery? I'm so scared. I DON'T want surgery! I am finding all the positives in the negative! HELP!
