WHAT CAN YOU DO TO DECREASE THE CHANCE OF GETTING IT?

No-one can prevent cancer.
What you can do is lower your risk factors.
There are 7 basic steps to reduce your risk:
Stop smoking
Be sun smart
Keep active
Avoid excess alcohol
Keep your weight within a healthy range
Eat a healthy diet
Get regular health checks.

preventing cancer..Sorry but there really is no answer for this..
You hear of people who DOn't smoke, don't drink - do everything right and they get cancer.. You hear of people who do everything that is consider wrong and they DON"T get cancer..
Cancer is a disease - there is sooo many different forms of cancer and sadly NO -one really knows what triggers it.. Cancer in a way just Choses..
Some people will say - Don't smoke as it will give you lung cancer.. Some will say don't go into the sun - skin cancer..
It is hard to prevent it/cancel it out so you don't get it..
Be BODY wise - watch any mole that changes, check for lumps (and this is for both Breast (f&m can get) plus testes regularly..
