Hello. I am a 22 year-old woman who has never been pregnant. My mother is a breast cancer survivor. She had a localized, non-metastasizing, non-recurring tumor and was 35 at diagnosis.

I am currently started my period. Normally my breasts do get slightly swollen and tender for the week before my period starts; however, my breasts are larger than they normally get and have a deep ache. My nipples aren't really erect like they would be and sometimes feel a small film of stickiness. And today, I just noticed a small, small red spot next to my nipple. There's no "orange" characteristics to either breast.

What should I do? I don't have insurance since I'm no longer in school and therefore no longer a ward of my parents and covered under them. I just started a new job, so I'm not eligible for coverage. Should I just move to Canada? (sorry, lame attempt at humor)

What should I look out for? How long should I wait to see someone? And how in the world would I see someone without insurance?

Today when I took a nap, I woke up and noticed some dried blood in my underwear. My period ended more than 4 days ago and I haven't had sex in about 3 or more days, I was wondering what this could be, I feel ok just a little dry and the day before I noticed some sticky, clear-white discharge too, what is all this?

I've been in a committed relationship for almost eight years--I'm in my late 30s--and I also sometimes have trouble getting wet. While I enjoy sex, I'm not desperate for it. So, is this a symptom of age, of needing a shot of SOMETHING in my relationship, or what? It could also be that my boyfriend prefers sex in the morning.

Does anyone else have problems like this?

Ok, no perverted results. This is a real problem and I don't want creepsters being...well, creeps. I recently got my period for the first time. For about a year before that, I've had vaginal discharge. It's not foul smelling or oddly colored, it's just there. Now, when I got my period, there was still discharge in the blood. What does this mean?

Okay, the doctor put me on Cymbalta for pain and to help with some of my slight depression. I have Sjorgren's and Rhemitoid arthritis. Some days I hurt really bad and it is hard to be in a good mood when you hurt. Any way, he wants me also to go to pain management but my mom says insurance won't cover that. Why wouldn't they and is she correct? Also, has your doctor ever put you on that for pain? Thanks!

I am getting married in a few months and my sex life sucks. My finance treats me so great but in the sack he is all about himself. I am shy and so its hard for my to be blunt about it but i have told him and he appologizes and keeps on with his ways. I dont think i am fighting fair becuase i have gotten so aggravated I have withheld sex. I have never gotten an orgasm and seem to only be giving oral...guys how do I stop this cycle???

Ok, this is a very serious question, not a joke, not trying to be dirty, so please--serious, helpful answers only :) My boyfriend and I are 100% sure we want to stay together, and we are 100% sure we DO NOT want children. As of right now I am on the pill, but i am not satisfied with it, and I definitely do not want to have the girl surgery (tubes tied or whatever). We have discussed considering the possibilty of him getting a vasectomy, and we want to know more. Please, anyone who knows about it, share your info with me. Does it hurt? bad? how long does it take? what about recovery time? how much $$? what is sex like afterward--any difference? how accurate is it? thanks in advance to all who give me good legit answers.

Okay i am going to the docter in a week to get two shots and a check up, but when i was there i was going to ask my docter if i could be put on birth control (stricly for regulateing my periods, and making them shorter NOT for sex) but ussally they give you pap smears to be put on bc, but i will be on my period during the time i go to the docter so is still going to be able to prescribe me bc?

Just to let you know im 16 almost 17.

So I have been taking these pills for 2 months now and I had my period regular after the first pack. Now since on the 2nd pack I now have this brown/red discharge only when I wipe and I thought it would be my period since the next day there was a little blood but nothing to get all excited about. Plus this is happening a whole week and a half before I am suppose to have my period. Does this mean that I am pregnant or is it just something that happens while on yasmin BC?

I went to a gyn for my yrly and she had thyroid labs done on me. (My 2 sisters have hypothyroidism). My labs - T3, T4, and FSH are all fine! But my TSH-thyroid stimulating hormone is 11.19, with normal range= .5-5.50, so mine is high. My thyroid peridoxase antibodies is 221, with the normal being less than 35, so it too is high. This supposedly indicates I have hoshimoto's? Hypothyroidism? I am 53, going thru menopause also. Could menopause be causing this? My insurance is horrible and I can't really afford to go to Dr if don't need to. MY QUES is: Do these 2 levels that are hi MEAN that I do have hypo? I can't tell if I have a little goiter going on or not. I do not understand how my T3 + T4 is normal if I do indeed have thyroid. And if I do have to go to Dr, I do not want to return to a gyn Dr who is NOT specialized in this area. So, should I go to an Ears, nose and throat specialist or a Endrocrinologist? Please ONLY advise if you KNOW about these things, no guessing.

Today at the movie theaters my neck started itching. I thought it was nothing but throughout the movie my whole body was itching. Then outside I saw my arms had big red bumps on them. My friend said maybe its somethin' I ate. But I only ate McDonalds and popcorn. And I always eat that so it doesnt make sense I would have hives now. Could it be the chairs? I read online that widespread hives could be a sign of a viral infection? Should I go to the doctor?
