How do they know this?

My Dad's ex was taken into hospital on Wednesday and given 48 hours to live.
She has had leukemia and everybody thought that she was doing really well and getting close to getting the all clear. She got a chest infection and was rushed into hospital. I don't know what to do. My Dad and Ann were together from my being 4 years old (I am now 28) and they split up 4 years ago. Since then, I have very rarely seen her. Her and my Dad have been on speaking terms and he goes round every Christmas for lunch with all her family (her kids (grown up now) kind of still look at my dad as their dad) and they speak each week on the phone. I went to see Ann in hospital when she was first diagnosed with Leukemia and since then I have only seen her once for her 60th birthday party. Do you think I should go to the hospital?
My dad is there at the moment but he could speak when I just rang him because he was crying. I feel quite uncomfrotable going to the hospital.

Hi, last month I finished my 3 mth course of Lamisil for a toenail fungus on my big toe.. I swear, this nail is not growing! I have a couple of questions - first of all, is it possible that the nail will never grow out- has it just stopped growing due to the fungus? Also in the meantime, while growing out, is it ok to paint the nail with nail polish? I don't want to make it worse.

I have this scar on my leg

is it abnomal that i got pubic hair when i was 8??
I always felt weird..cause no one else was going through puberty:=|

but im 12 now..
and i still havent gotten my period.
even though all the signs are there!!!
just is it really weird??

i have...a lot of allergies, to say the least.
pollen, dust, ragweed, and all that good stuff and i am also very allergic to certain types of fruit.
what about you?
have you actually been tested by an allergist?
how was the test, i havent had one yet.

Recentlly i got small throbbing pains in my torso, on and off. Now after waking up my left arm has a constant small numming type pain for 45 mins now. It is kind of small pains which go up into my neck, like a small jolt of pain and then it stops. But my arm is been constant. I was woundering if it was to do with muscles, i been working alot recentlly but i have had a week up and been using the computer a bit.

I have been working alot and i finally got the day off. I work about 5 hours a day. Just a summer job before i head back to school. When i got off work, i began feeling ill. My face felt hot and my legs were weak. Also my lower back was killing me aswell.And the next day, my day off, i felt even worse. I was tired and lazy. I really did not feel like getting out of the bed. Im used to working longer hours and i have never felt this way.
