There are a number of possibilities for what is causing this. Please let your mom and dad know what is going on as well as your doctor so that they can try to figure out what is causing the cramping you are having.

Honey you're fine!!! Growing pains! You probably need Calcium too and Phosphorus. Eat Yogurt. Yoplait. Also, you could be cramping for your period. When i cramp in my legs and i have my period is means i am releasing blood. Gross, but maybe you're experiencing that too.
Funny thing is, i panicked just like you. Even when to the doctor's, got an X-ray, and sat in a wheel chair. Nothing was wrong with my legs they said. I would wake up at midnight and cry and my parents would have to come with buckets of water to my aid. It's part of growing up. Don't rush it either. Stay a kid!!

You could be getting ready to start your period, or it could be a potassium problem. See a doctor, also, you might consider eating more bananas, or dried apricots, they are rich in potassium..I was recently ( I'm 48 ) diagnosed with a low level of Vit B..which caused the same painful leg cramps. Its important that your mom or dad know what is going on.. We old people know a lot of stuff. Besides, our children are our hearts, we don't like them to be in pain, and we would do anything to prevent them from hurting.
good luck !

I agree with telling your parents and the potassium thing. Especially if you are athletic and sweating from sports. Try drinking alot more water to keep hydrated. And lay down and put your feet flat against the wall and stretch your legs.
