First of all, I'm glad you are asking for help on Yahoo! Answers. That's a significant beginning. The fact that you are choosing life right now rather than death tells me that there is still a chance for you to live. I've been there before. I've been on both sides of the fence so to speak. And now, not only am I still alive, but now I love life. You obviously realize that suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem.
With that said, I would encourage you to reach out and ask for help from those who can truly help you starting with a good psychiatrist to get on an anti-depressant. Why? Because obviously you need more help than you are able to give yourself. Do you feel weak by asking for help? Let me put it this way and I ask you to consider this: right now you're fighting for your very life and isn't that worth it? Let me tell you from experience. There is help out there and there is also hope. Ask yourself if you want to take your own life how you would feel if a family member took their own life? Probably the same way that those who love you would feel. You have taken a significant first step. For now, you choose to live. Now it's time for you to seek help from a psychiatrist and allow him (her) to give you back your mind and your life. Write me or IM me and talk to me if it helps. I've been there. You aren't alone.

Academics only suit a small proportion of people: your future may well lie in another field, like real estate, photography, landscaping, graphic artist, personal trainer, peace officer, etc. So just do your best, and find out by trying many things, what you are good at, and develop those areas. See depression treatments, at http://www.ezy-build.net. (.net.nz/~shaneris) on page 2, and practise one of the relaxation techniques daily, and when needed, also see suicidal thoughts, on page 5. Learn to forgive yourself. Reduce hate to "dislike", and use it as motivation to change yourself into someone you can like. View the self esteem websites, and volunteer, even from home, at first. That should create a positive impression with your family. If you just hold down a job, and produce healthy, well adjusted children, they will be happy with that. See www.coping.org Study in bursts of 20 - 25 mins, with 5 min breaks. Rewrite notes in different words, that day, and review notes weekly, monthly, and before exams; ensure adequate sleep.

Guys, suicide is not the solution... you will be leaving people behind who love and care for you and will be traumatized if you leave them...
Speak to your teacher who can help you with academics. Go to your doctor who can put you on antidepressants and seek professional help from a psychologist... You need to be around people...
Best of luck!

why are you putting so much pressure on yourself to get good grades? or is someone else putting pressure on you to get good grades? no one is perfect, just do the best you can and if someone out there isn't satisfied with your best then its their problem not yours.
