I'm 14 years old. And still I haven't got that thing. How can I do to speed it up. Everygrl in my class has it.

i'm not sure why so many people are upset about getting their period. i look forward to it every month...yes it can be messy and sometimes bad timing...but it also tells you that things are working the way they are supposed to. look forward to it but also be patient every person matures at different rates. i know it is hard to be the only one who doesn't have it yet, it feels so important sometimes to fit it and not be the odd girl out. if you are being teased about it remind them that you don't have to deal with the mess and inconvenience. someone mentioned anorexia as a reason for it coming on 'later' but there are other reasons as well...a lot of serious athletes don't start until their late teens. it will come...there is no stopping it...but don't feel the need to bleed to prove you are growing up.

Sorry.. Nothing you can do. Just wait. It is all about hormones. When did you start developing breasts? Your first period usually comes about 2 yrs later.
Also, when did your mom get hers? Alot of times you will do just like your mom.
I am glad you are looking forward to it. I hated it from the first to the last!
Also, all this is taking into consideration that you are not anorexic--because if so you can stunt your growth and delay your menstrual cycles.

What "thing" do you mean? Boobs? Your period?
Girls mature at different rates. If you are talking about your period... even if you could, you wouldn't want to speed it up. Having a period SUCKS!!! It's annoying and not fun. Believe me! And it could be years before you get it. Some girls don't get theirs until they are 16 or 17 sometimes.
If you are talking about boobs.... give it time! Like I said, girls mature at different rates.

You CAN'T speed it up. You will get it when your body is ready and not a minute sooner. Some girls don't get it until they are 16 (or older). You have plenty of time. Don't worry. You'll get it soon enough and then you'll hate it.

Honey i was damn near 15 when i got it. After that i bloomed got boobs and all that. It will come soon enough and when it does youll wish u didnt!!! ;-)) Dont stress sweetie!!!

Girls def mature at different rates. your talking bout your period right?i wouldn't want to speed it up. Having a period is not funn!!I had mine at 11,i had big boobs for my age[[i wuznt big]].But once you have it,you'll wish you never did,BELIEVE ME!!! it fricken sux=//.

You can't speed it up and trust me, you don't want to. lol.
Just be patient and it will be here before you know it.

ugh, honey, trust me: you don't want your period any sooner than you HAVE to have it.
it's not fun, it's not cute, and it's certainly nothing to worry about not having.
