Im taking metformin 500mg once a day as prescribed, I have a mid case of PCOS, only my testosterone levels are slightly wrong. Can I drink alcohol, what? and how much? thanks!!!!!

Alcohol should be avoided with that medication. Alcohol and metformin may increase the risk of lactic acidosis and hypoglycemia

I would not recommend using alcohol with this medication because there's the potential it could speed up any side effects that you may get with this medication already.

I would not mix alcohol with metformin.
