Look, don't start with your fat. I weigh 123lbs, and work my arms out twice a week. When I straighten my arms, I'm quit impressed but the minute I make the L shape with my arms, the flab falls out of no-where.

How in the hell do you tighten this area?

I used to be a runner in high school. Three years later I have been exercising off and on, but I don't really feel like I am back in shape yet. (I don't mean that I don't look slim enough, I mean that I can't do cardio at a very intense level). I have noticed that I don't breathe hard when climbing up stairs anymore, but I don't feel like I am working hard enough and my heart rate gets too high too quickly. How long does it take when doing 30-60 minutes of cardio a day to get "back into shape?"

Hi.

I will be playing “Hercules” in our school concert in about 5-6 weeks. I am 15 years old, in year 10 at school, 5ft 11” tall, and about 140 pounds. I am pretty skinny but, because I am playing Hercules I need to be really muscly. How can I get to be muscly in Hercules-like proportions in 5 or 6 weeks?

I need to have big leg muscles and arm muscles, and a six pack, and all of that sort of stuff. Anybody that knows how i could get like this in about 5 or 6 weeks can they please help me?
Any help would be very very much appreciated.

I have been stung 3 times and each time the reaction is worse. Last time my hand swelled up to the size of a large potato and the swelling traveled half way to my elbow. It lasted for a week.
I don't think I am allergic because my friend who is gets breathing problems when she is stung. Could I be developing an allergy?

I swim a lot in the summer and today when I came inside I noticed the part of my hair was sore and red. It isn't really painful, just a little sore and annoying. How can I make it feel better and not get burned again?

you need an MRI do determine if you have MS. It pisses me off that he just based his conclusion on an assumption and not actual facts. I haven't been to the Doc in a long time and now I remember why! I would never tell someone that they might have a condition ( whatever it may be) without doing some ground work first and knowing for sure. Maybe i'm over-reacting??

Before I start, I know some seizures don't always make you fall to the ground and sometimes you might not even realli know its A seizure. So Thats exactly why im asking this question.

Almost once every day, Out of no where I get really nervous and my hands start to tingle (Pins and needles) and my mouth gets very dry. I shake and my hands get ICE cold. When this happens I can't sit still and I keep shaking my hands to try to get that numbness feeling away. Sometimes my heart races and sometimes it dosn't. Now though, I don't think it is anxiety because im calm when it happens and my heart really dont pound as long as I stay calm. I also feel confused and detached when these 'Attacks' happen.

I heard these are some symptoms of A seizure and also A Panic Attack. How do you really know the difference?

Im scared that im going to die from A seizure or something even worse.

I also notice, these attacks happen 10x Worse the day after I drink alcohol. So I dont drink at all anymore

1. I am 5'5 and I weigh 134 pounds. I have a medium body frame. And apparently, my BMI is 22.5? Is this fat, or normal for my age and height. Oh, and by the way, I'm 15.

2. Am I eating too much? I thought I was pretty healthy until my friend told me I was eating too much.

Breakfast- A bowl of cereal. A glass of water.
Lunch- A peanut-butter and banana sandwich, and half of a string cheese. A glass of water.
Dinner- Two hot dogs (I normally eat one! I was kinda hungry today ^^;;) Some grapes. A glass of water.
Snack- One of those 100 calorie popcorn packs. I didn't eat the whole thing either.

That's normally the most I'd ever eat. I NORMALLY don't eat breakfast, but today I was hungry soooo........ I did.
I exercise too! Every day, I go on a 4 mile bike ride. So is that good exercise?

I am aware that consuming too much sugar has a very detrimental effect on one's health, yet we are expected to eat many fruits for good health purposes. I am sure that the sugars derived from fruits typically digest more smoothly along with the nutrients in the fruits themselves, but I am wondering if the effects of eating fruit often are comparable to high fructose corn syrup consumption. I would like to control my blood sugar a bit more but still absorb all the vital nutrients from fruits.

For example, if I consume 10 teaspoons of sugars derived from fruit in a day, how does this stack up against 10 teaspoons of refined sugars?

Any input on the subject will be appreciated.

can stave off-hardening of the arteries?-and may even reverse it-.A recent study found-the juice reduced the rate of cholesterol plaque build up by 30 percent, and heart cells treated with the juice-showed a 50 percent increase in th production of- nitric oxide-a substance that helps fight plaque. More than 130 pomegranate products were introduced in 2006 -so if you dont like juice- there are plenty of other tasty ways to take it.Good luck.l for one-am going to try it.

lately i have been extremely exhausted and so tired and weak. i can't even walk up some stairs without feeling exhausted. i am always so hungry, but whenever i try to eat something i feel sick. i've also had a rapid decrease in appetite. i don't feel like eating as much as i used to. i keep getting bruises on my arms and legs, and i'm sure there's no reason for them. plus my hair falls out, and i constantly feel like throwing up. i've been feeling this way for a couple of weeks now. also it feels like i'm having problems with my heart. i have a lot of pain there, along with trouble breathing at times. i hope someone could give me some insight on what might be the problem and what steps i should take to get better. please, real answers, not smart alec ones. thanks in advance for the help.

I want to start jogging but the only thing that is stopping me is embarrasment. In my town it is mostly main roads, and I fear people laughing at me when I'm jogging. I had surgery on my hip 2 years ago when I was 13 (now 15), so I have a limp and when I run I waddle. Yes, I'm a little overweight, 20 punds maybe. So, how do I get over this fear?

Every day someone is asking how to treat a sunburn, and some even ask how they can "get rid of it"...like they can magically make it disappear. Seems like so many people just don't get it yet. Don't understand since it's not a big secret what all the damage does, and since good sunscreens are readily available. I've had 5 skin cancers removed (sunscreens didn't come out till I was in my 20's, and by then the damage was done), and now have serious scarring. Do some of you still think it won't happen to you? I'm trying not to sound preachy.....I just want you all to take care of youselves and not have to go thru' this in the future.

I was wondering what causes Tachycardia....I have havd this random rapid heartbeat my whole life, but recently it has become very bad. My mother talked to her heart doctor and he said he's sure its a type of tachycardia....I can't remember what type. But I was wondering what can cause this? Are there any STDs that cause it? Just curious...although this happened before I have ever been "active" just not as much and severe. Also, how do they test for tachycardia? I am very afraid of going and getting tested/evaluated. Thanks!
