ok...i'm really having the worst time ever with my face...i have a lot of these weird bumps on my t-zone area...its not acne or pimple...but if you squeeze it out, a white, hard substance comes out of it...my friends say that its white heads...but i don't know what they really are...
well the main point here is that i really want to get rid of them...quick...i usually squeeze them out...but sometimes, it doesn't come out so i end up hurting my skin...i'm getting more and more...and its really really bad...how do i get rid of them?

My doctors office called me up today to give me the stats of my labs. She told me that my platelet levels were kind of low. They were at 84 and need to be around 120-130. The nurse told me this and asked her what this meant. She really didnt give me any info. She just said that platelets were my clotting factor. I went into the doctor in the first place because I was periods everyday for months on end. I don't understand anything. What causes platelet counts to be low and what are the risk factors that can happen and what can help me get them back up?

I got a filling in one of my bottom molars in March. No problems until 2 weeks ago. I was having a bowl of cereal, and the crunching hurt that tooth. Only when I chew on food. No other times and no sensitivity to hot. A little sensitive when it comes to cold.
I went to the dentist about 5 days after I got the pain, which was asap. She did a tap test and examined the tooth. Nothing. No pain. Nothing she can see. She took an xray, and there is no infection, and everything looks fine.
Well now it's been 2 weeks and the pain when I chew certain food on this tooth, still remains.
I've read it could be a fracture, but does anyone have any other ideas. And what could the treatment be. It's been bothering my mind.

I am a highschooler that has a health project. All you have to do is answer a couple questions. If you feel uncomfortable giving me info, you don't have to. I don't even need a name if you don't want to give it.

I'm a survivor of childhood sexual abuse which turned into years of severe PTSD. Now I've been in EMDR sessions for about two months. I follow a holistic diet/lifestyle and have no real contact w/my family (I'm too "handicapped" for them to deal with).

I went to San Francisco for a week for job interviews/checking out the area. Didn't land the new job and there's no PTSD support group (yes I tried lots of sources. But nothing). And the toughest part of being there? Walking down the street on a beautiful day and some trigger (a sound, tune, a color, etc.) sets off flashbacks or dissociating. I try all the tricks I can to stay grounded. But many times it doesn't work. Which makes me think, how do I cope with this? What will people think? In the past dissociating was so bad I literally couldn't walk 50 yards down the street without ducking into some alley to try and focus again. And I don't want to live my life like that anymore. Any suggestions on how to cope better? Thanks.

Someone I know hasnt been on their period in 4 months. She is just a teen and hasn't been on it for too long. She ran into a problem with a boy. He started to have sex with her, but did not go all the way. She hadnt started her period even before that. She isnt pregnant is she? And is it ok to be irregular like that?

I think I have an abscess tooth. One of my teeth on the top row is broken and on the inside of the roof of my mouth (if you can follow that) is really swollen where the root of that tooth is. I have all of these white swollen squiggly lines around it also. It hurts so bad. I want to go to the dentist and have them look at it. What would they do since I'm almost 38 weeks pregnant. I don't think I can wait until after baby comes. This is excrutiating pain. Thanks in advance for your answers.

Today I was told I could get contacts, our insurance will pay for most of them but I'm stuck between Acuvue or Freshlook, our Optometrist has both brands but which should I pick? All opinions on both are welcome. I want something bold thats going to make my eyes go "wow" comfort is important to. Either Freshlook Dimensions Pacific Blue or Acuvue Colors 2-Saphire Blue.

Thanks in Advance
