You can dance, do cartwheels and run a marathon with a heart murmur. Do whatever you want to do. This is not serious.

A heart murmur is not a condition. It is the term used to describe the sound your heart makes when heard through a stethescope. Sometimes a murmur is heard when there is a structural abnormality in the heart like a leaking valve, but most of the time, people have them with no issues that affect their daily life. Your heart is a little "chatty".

The important thing is that you know that you have it, so it's not considered in a diagnosis some day in the future as something new.

Go dance, live, be well.
