If your skin is a dry, and you are bothered by it, I suggest you try using

Zenmed Sensitive Skin Care System from Zenmed or Autopalm from

Skinstore.com

Zenmed has no side effects and it's non-irritant to the
skin. It's proven to works fast and it povides Maximum
results! It's certainly a good lotion to prevent further
outbreaks.

Another product that I think is effective is Autopalm. This
dry skin mlm is one of the best seller at skinstore.com now.
(Skinstore.com holds more than 10,000 skin care products) It's pretty

effective, and worth the dollar paid out.

I think Cetaphil is the best moisturizer. Howeever, I have had many chronic rashes that even prescription creams could not heal. Then I found out about Emu oil. Available at Health Food Stores, but much more reasonable on the internet on-line stores. It Cetaphil does not work, Emu Oil will. It heals burns, rashes, anything I've used on skin problems. It is awesome! Best of luck for your student, and it's so wonderful that you are helping her.

It sounds like your daughter has psoriasis. She should see a dermatologist to get prescription strength lotion/cream. Eucerin is also a great lotion to try. Try to use pure soaps (no scented, colored, etc) and pure detergents on her clothing, and this should help cut back on some of the itching. Change her sheets regularly. Also, keep her away from synthetic materials like polyester, nylon, etc. Stick to cotton (which breathes well), silk, etc. When she sleeps, make sure that her room is well ventilated; dry air makes the itching worse.

Is she your kid? Because My 12 year old son always gets dry skin and I have him take baths and then the lotion slathering.

When she gets out of her bath, go in and use a lotion like ST.Ives or Nivea, or any other good brand and slather it on her her, and lotion her again in the middle of the day.

This is what I always need to do to my son, because he gets dry skin alot.

thanks hope this helps!

Have you tried Eucerin or Aveeno? I use the extra dry skin with itch relief on the Eucerin brand. My sons pediatrician reccommended it. I also reccommend using Aveeno. It doesn't feel like it is oily and it gets absorbed into the skin really well. I also used in on my son who has a rash, and it took the itch away and really hydrated his arms, legs and face.

My friend and her son have some sort of dry skin problem and they say the best stuff is Cetaphil. You can get it at Wal-mart. A doctor also suggested it for my son when he had baby acne.

Go to the drugstore and buy "Bag Balm", it comes in a small green can and is used for all skin irritations and works wonders.

I think that someone should find out why she is getting rashes, just what is she allergic too. It may be something as simple as laundry detergent.
