Is there anyone who has had a family member discharged with a mental illness that was not treated properly by the Marine Corps? Daughter was discharged with less than honorable, and documentation showed that she was suffering from depression and was not followed by any mental health personnel. This situation lead to other situation to lead up to her discharge. I have had three professionals tell me she should have received a medical discharge.

For ever my sister, mom, and dad have been nagging me about eating right. Well I cant handle my eating habbits and what I eat blah blah like that. So my sister teeses me about being fat and points out people who are saying "Your gonna be like that" type stuff. Well I want to keep in helthy shape and everything. I am pretty lazy so working out never works for me but I want to FINALLY eat healthy. Do you have a diet plan for teens like me who want to be a little skinny, or just want to eat right to lose pounds. Please i need some help to shut up my sister, mom, and dad! HeHe!

have any of you had open heart surgery? i've had 4 in my life and im beginning to not wanna show my scars, its really hard because its almost spring, and i dont want to where long sleeve shirts all the time. also, once i get a boyfriend how do i tell him? do you think ill scare him off?

I just had a filling done exactly a month ago on the side of my tooth in the back. And i woke up yesterday and and it hurts like crazy, the exact same spot. When I drink water it hurts, or air or anything sweet, etc...It was fine for a month. I am in college far from home and the dentist wont be in till monday. Whats wrong with my tooth!

My sister in law came to visit us in chicago and she is 7 months pregnant. She is from Indonesia.

I bought a Sunbeam brand heating pad today which sucked horribly. It only got slightly warm and is in NO way helpful. I've been using a hot water bottle wrapped in a towel for the longest time but I'd like an actual pad. Does anyone know of an effective heating pad that actually WORKS?

For example, i understand that for about an inch dierectly below the belly button that is part of your stomach and prone to fat. However, lower than that - I guess closer to the bladder/uterus area - I heard that that area is supposed to be a little fattier anyways no matter how slim you are. Is that true?

My friend says he has lost 9 pounds over a period of say, about 2 months? He hasn't done any extra exercise or anything and has been fed well. It might be a form of diabetes of something, but his mom said it might be because of stress. I also know that he has a LOT, a TON of stress, he constantly has to fulfill his parent's obligations and expectations. Please tell me what this might be and what can he do. Thanks a lot.

Right at the end of my ribs I have increasing pain right there. Is that acid reflex or some kind of GI problem. Its been burning me right at that spot for 3 days now.

How can I cure this or decrease the pain until I can get to a doctor. Ive been taking Prilosec OTC and it works to a point and then I have the pain back again. Please, any ideas to get rid of the pain?

I stopped wearing glasses a few years ago and have been wearing soft contacts ever since. However, as I don't own a pair of glasses, I wear my contact lenses pretty much 10+ hours a day, 7 days a week. Also, a 3-month supply can last me up to a year - they still seem fine after a month so why should I throw them out?

Just wondering what the long term effect of this is? I am looking at purchasing a pair of glasses soon, but I'm just wondering if damage is already done.

Oh, and my prescription is -3 if that matters at all.
