I bought a Sunbeam brand heating pad today which sucked horribly. It only got slightly warm and is in NO way helpful. I've been using a hot water bottle wrapped in a towel for the longest time but I'd like an actual pad. Does anyone know of an effective heating pad that actually WORKS?

I have a GE kind. Check with your dr and pharmacist too to see if they have any particular brands they recommend to patients.

I have the same sunbeam heating pad that was a gift to me at a wedding shower and it still works great. We use it on a weekly basis. Maybe you just got a lemon. Return to store and try the replacement in the store at the customer service. They HATE doing returns/refunds, so they won't mind letting you plug it in there.

You can keep your Heating Pads, your Wheat bags, your Electric Blankets and all similar modern products. For me you just can't beat a good old-fashioned rubber hot water bottle, either for period pains or simply to cuddle to keep you warm.
