. Last year a car struck me and I had MASSIVE heart attack, right in the ICU. Not from cholesterol, diet, but from the SHOCK into my nervous system & strain on the heart. Now I am severely swollen & bloated w/water. In fact, the pressure in my r.leg forced open a weak spot under a healing scab & now clear water streams out my ankle day & night - my shoes & socks, pants DRENCHED 24/7. I spent thousands on cardiologists and they say only to try diuretics to expel fluid cause kidneys not working well due to damaged heart. I have maybe less than 1/3 of my heart muscle functional after the MI. Dr's say this will be lifelong , progressively worsening, heart cannot pump properly like before. fluid backing up into lungs, everywhere. No specific remedies or surgeries can fix me - except a whole new heart (impossible) .I refuse to enter hospital, If I am doomed, then why must I "visit" cardiologists.? Why re-hash same issues endlessly when they insist no cure possible? What hopes for me??

About 20 days a go I got off my period. A few days after that I had brown gooy stuff come out and I just thought it was dried blood coming out. But it still hasn't stopped and I'm due to start my next period Saturday. I think it may be due to me missing up my birth control, I forgot it twice and have been taking it at different times because of the holidays and being out of my normal routine messed me up. What could be wrong with me?

ive wondered this and i try to get 7 to 8 hrs of rest (which means trying to get to sleep plus sleep). do i need eight hours of me sleeping? and do teens really need 8 hrs or can they pass on 6 or 7. cuz thats wat most teens do

I've had it for about a week now. I am using the Band-aid hurt free antiseptic and a I recently starting doing the salt/water method, also I do use dial on it. It is really red and sore (I was thinking it was b/c of the not so gret location. lol), and when i clean it there is just a little bit of white stuff that will come out, is it scar tissue. It's not oozing or anything like that! Any suggestions will be very much appriciated! Also, where do I find sea salts? Thanks guys!

dentist told me it would go down ,but its still swollen and still feels a little numb .i'm scared something bad went wrong .he put me on penesillin,thinking it could be infected,but its not. i'm in no pain ,but my mouth and face feels strange.could this be a malpractice issue?

when people lose weight/ fat because of exercise, does the body wait for the carbs to b used up or is simultaneous. i was thinking the body should use carbs. then at a later points in time, start converting fat to carbs or just burning it?

My father is 67 years old and has approximately 3 night terrors per week. He has had them for 5-6 years now, and in every one he is either getting chased by something or attacked in some way. Sometimes he actually hurts himself in the process. My family wants him to see a doctor about it but none of us really know what can be done. I'm assuming the first place to start would be with his primary physician. I'm just curious as to methods of diagnoses, whether its sleep test, psychiatric consult, etc. and methods of therapy (medication, therapy, etc.) Also if anyone knows what can cause these. Any information about this would be great, most of it that I can find applies to children.

I used some one's vibrator who had herpes/or genital warts...but we didn't use it at the same time... i dont think i have it but i was just wondering. like how long does the virus stay on hard surfaces! it's really embarssing to ask my mom or anybody but i'm scared to go to the doctors! i haven't showed any symptons(even though i could still have it)
