How long does it take for a black eye to go down and what can i do to make it faster?

I was in the wrong place at the wrong time on new years eve, i have to go back to college on the 8th, do u think it will be down by then?

in my personal experiences I put meat on it right away then I kept icing it down whenever i had the chance to. After a week or so it went away.

couple weeks to go down on its own. believe it or not , raw steak does help but only a little. my mom did it for me once when i was little. i'm afraid you'll have to let nature take its course.
