can you get an STD from using a vibrator?

I used some one's vibrator who had herpes/or genital warts...but we didn't use it at the same time... i dont think i have it but i was just wondering. like how long does the virus stay on hard surfaces! it's really embarssing to ask my mom or anybody but i'm scared to go to the doctors! i haven't showed any symptons(even though i could still have it)
so how long do the virus herpes or genital warts stay on hard surfaces???
or any additonal advice
or any other ways i can tell i have it

well its not about if i stays in hard surfaces, its about how long i can survive outside of the body.

did you wash well it before you used it? I hope so because it can still be spread if you didnt

if you have any of there go to the doctor while the symptoms are still present. there are free clinics in your area if you look for it
And if you think you have anything DO NOT HAVE SEX!! you can spread it to others.

SERIOUSLY I DONT THINK YOU HAVE IT... WHEN YOU GET HERPES YOU SHOULD HAVE A BRAKE OUT WITH IN 3 TO 5 DAYS. IF YOU DONT HAVE IT YOU'RE FINE... THE DOC WONT TEST YOU UNLESS YOU HAVE A BRAKE OUT.

yes u could, but u could also catch it by girl/girl sex wif her whilst being in a 3 some. also if u both had the same guy inside you both, u could catch it this way too. play hard, have fun, but be safe.

uh that's nasty but i think you could still contract it if it wasn't cleaned very well because you get it from the fluids entereing your system which could have still been on there. go to the damn gyno!!!!
