okay well, i am 13, and a couple weeks ago i decided to use a tampon. so i bought tampax pearl, and i tried to insert it, but i can't see the hole i'm supposed to insert it in. i tried the whole "one leg up" thing, but it still didn't work. it hurt soo much when I was trying to put it in, and and i only got it maybe one and a half centimeters in b/c it was so painful i couldnt go on, and when i took it out, it hurt sooo bad. can you tell me what im doing wrong, or help me please because I love to swim and do gymnastics and i don't want my period to slow me down from doing the things i love. please help me.

my symptoms are painful urination, an urge to pee very ofton, and an extremely painful bladder area. I have some spots of blood, and my pee is extremely yellow. is this uti? how serious is it?

Ok, here's the rundown. In August, I had sex for the first time. A week or two afterward, it was very irritable in the vaginal area, and it looked like a had a rash around that area, and I had little bumps on my inner labia. All of this went away after about 3-4 weeks. I had a blood test done in November and nothing came back positve. I just realized that I have a red bump down there. It kind resembles a pimple or a blister. I'm scared out of my mind. I do plan to make an appointment the the GYN this week. I was just wondering has anybody else [women] experienced this. Also, what STDs show up in blood tests?

My daughter is 14 years old and I'm concerned about her acne. Acne runs on my husbands side of the family (badly) including my husband, and now I see it with my daughter. The doctor has prescribed Bactrim, Doxycycline, and now Tetracycline. Her face doesn't just have the pimples, it has a lot of redness around her cheeks. She now has image issues, and I don't know what to do. Does anyone know of a good Dermatologist in Fresno Ca. with reasonable prices? My daughters face now looks scared. She is 14 years and I'm afraid that as she gets older things will get worse. Is there a stronger medication than Tetracycline? How can I help my daughter?

I just started dating a guy and he recently told me that he has schizophrenia. He is 24 and he seems like a really nice guy. We have a lot in common but I have a two year old son and now I don't know what to do. He told me that he's on medication and he is going to take it for the rest of his life. Can somebody please tell me what I should do? Should I start a relationship with him or should I just be friends with him? As long as he's on the medication, will everything be fine?

OK..befor you answer, I know I need to see the Dr. I already have & I plan to again. Just couldn't get an appt. for several days. Just wonjdering if any of you have experienced this. I had one lump come up & had a breast ultrasound done..it was completely benign. It went away on its own a few days later. Now I have another one in almost the same spot (moved up a little, though). Have any of you experienced this? What the h#** is it? Its really freaking me out. Thanks!

I live with chronic UTI's. It started about 3 years ago. I get them about 10 times a month. And the pain in unbearable. I have been to the doctor twice about this problem, and they cant find anything wrong. So now I live off of UTI pills over the counter. (I cant remember the name of them, I get them at Rite Aid) And they do help alot. But you arent soposed to take them as much as I do.

I had to stop drinking pop totoally. Which I admit, I did live off of Code red Mt. Dew for ages. I drink cranberry juice, and I HATE it. When I go to the bathroom, i wipe front to back. I shower twice a day. I am sexually active, as I am married, but my husband is also clean.

I cant stand having these uti's all the time. It actually effects my daily life. Does anyone else have this problem? Is there anything you do to releive the pain?

i had my cartlidge done on december 2nd. and it was perfectly okay until the next week. it started to get this weird bump on the side. it didnt hurt but now it start hurting real bad like sting and i think it got a tiny bit bigger?. my ear started to get this redness on and off, sometimes it wouldnt be red and sometimes it wouldnt. It also tends to bleed when i sleep, so when i wake up theres dry blood near the cartlidge. can someone help me pleaseee?

I am 15 yo...male...and kinda on the lazy side. i come from a family that eats a lot! i have been trying to get them on the healthy side. my moms side of the family has a history of diabetes.. i don't want to go down that road... i weigh in about 225-227.

i kno how to exercise good becuz i can lose a few pounds a week but i gain them back ryte away... i can stay at a certain weight for about 3 months then i gain 10 more!

20 year old here- athlete/ very active trying to lose minimum of ten pounds with in 6 weeks. AIready do 4/5 days of cardio (45/60 min of high/low intensity) and 3 days of weight training, yet i still cannot lose anything! I already saw my doctor a few times and they did a few test, but they can't find anything. I've been having this chest pain for a few months already and now it's getting worst. It's on my upper left chest. I had Stress Test, Heart Ultrasound, Chest X-ray, and had my thyroid test. Everything came out negative. My doctor said that my heart is in good condition. My pain is very uncomfortable, I've been having a hard time to breath now, I feel like I'm being choked (slightly), and my left chest feel tight. I'm so frustrated that I don't even know what to do anymore. My doctor just gave me a Pamelor, but I'm not depressed at all, I'm not even stess. I'm 32 yrs. old, height is 5"6, and 122 lbs. I don't smoke, I don't drink, and never did drugs. My doctor also said that it could be some type of nerve discomfort, but she can't tell me exactly. The tightness sensation seem to be connected to the left side of my neck also. PLEASE, I NEED SOME ADVICE.

Alright well, I'm taking on a little project. I want to fast for 3 days starting tomorrow, I will only be eating fruits and vegetables and drinking water...Im doing it to understand what it is like to be hungry. I have frequent dreams about needing to find a bathroom when I'm out somewhere. When I find the bathroom it always ends up having no door. People all around me are using the toilet with no door either, but they don't seem to mind. I, on the other hand, am horrified and search desperately to find one with a door, but always to no avail. Sometimes the toilet is right in the middle of the room and people are standing all around me doing various things, like shopping, talking, eating food, etc. I try desperately to "go" without being noticed. Sometimes the toilets are filthy dirty with rust or someone else's "remains". Sometimes the toilet turns into a flat board and I feel I have no choice but to "go" all over the board. Then I try to hide it or clean it up but there is never anything to clean it with. I always wake up feeling humiliated, and frustrated, and ashamed. I hate these dreams. I am sick of them. I have them several times a month. I wish they would stop.
