A few days before you start school again get up early as you would normally, then clean house or get alot of exercise. Don't take any naps. When you hit the bed you will be tired, so you should doze off.
I used to work nights and had to learn to sleep during the day. I would lay there and think of stuff, so I started reading books and found this cleared my mind. Hope this helps!

You just have to get back into a normal sleep pattern. Gradually start going to bed earlier. Maybe 30 minutes earlier then the previous night each night until you are back on track. I also like to read right before I go to sleep becuase it is more relaxing then watching tv. Having some hot tea helps too. Good luck!

Im in the same boat right now. Just stay up until 4 am the night before you have to wake up for class, by the end of the day you will be so tired you'll crash at 10:00.
That, or you could start training yourself by waking up at early everyday.

Proper diet and exercise for starters. Lay of carbohydrates halfway through your day, stay away from chocolate, soda, caffeine products and don't eat or drink anything within 2 hours of going to bed at your target time. I was so bad i had a sleep study done and I know you said,,no drugs,, and i say,,,no narcotics,,but some of us subconsciously think too much and a low dosage anti-depressant has help millions. That's not to say your depressed,,it straightens out any chemical imbalances in your brain to help you sleep,,when it's time...Good luck.

Take an antihistimine like Equate or Benadryl. You can get a bottle of 100 tablets from the pharmacy and it is very reasonable. IOr if you want to try it first, you could also buy a smaller amount. It is non-habit forming. A few individuals get hyper instead of sleepy, but that is rare.

i once had an insomnia and i had tried different stuffs that could make me fall asleep. i tried drinking milk, exercising to stress me out, counted those freakin sheep..nothing works. i would still be awake thinking about anything that bothers me which i thought i was dreaming about.
i realized i was thinking so much about not being able to fall asleep again and that hinders me from being sleepy. i think and think too much and forced myself to feel sleepy and ironically, it works the other way around.
what i did was i did not force myself to sleep. even if my body's so tired and all, i just did not think of sleeping. eventually, my body just automatically FEEL the need to sleep,(without thinking i should sleep) and from that time on, i got back my normal sleeping pattern. if i feel sleepy, i sleep. i dont think about about 'i need to sleep' 'what if i cant sleep' stuffs again.
hopes this will help you a bit.

warm milk, tea, exercise and don't drink coffee at anytime of the day also some certain tea makes you not sleep so watch waht kind of tea you are drinking ask the person you bought it from. you should also have some exercise you'll be tired enough to sleep and remember when you make the warm milk don't heat it up with the microwave use a pot and boil it because it kills the bacteria in the milk and by putting it in the microwave it just put more bacteria in it because your microwave has more bacteria than you imagine.so i hope this help you.

Sex. A good man should knock you out like magic. I’m sure your man won't mind being used for such reason. You go get him' tonite and... Sweet dreams. =)
Or... If you don’t readily have a man at your disposal, you can always open a school book (the least you like subject the better) in your bed and start “studying”, it knocks me out each and every time.
