sounds like a uti or a bladder infection-either way you need to see a doctor-unless you are on your period, blood spots are never a good thing.

That sounds exactly like a UTI, and it's not all that serious :). They are very common.
If it's unbearable, first of all, go to a doctor. All they'll do is have you pee in a cup - nothing serious. They'll give you a medicine to help get the infection to leave your body, but they can also prescribe one for the pain (when I did this, the pain medication turned my urine BRIGHT orange - it was bizarre).
If you think you can stick it out without a doctor (and I've had a small one before where I didn't go to the doctor) drink a TON of water - I mean more than you think your body can handle. The more you pee and the less yellow your pee is, the faster the infection will leave. The other thing doctors will always recommend is to drink cranberry juice. I drank it nonstop and mine was gone in a day (get the sugar-free kind or you will feel sick to your stomach, drinking that much of it).
Hope this helps and that you feel better!

It can be pretty serious if not treated. You need to see a doctor to get some antibiotics and to make sure it is a UTI. It could be a much more serious condition such as a kidney infection, espically if it is accompanied by a fever.

Sounds like it to me. Not to be graphic, but it may feel like someone is holding a flame to your privates. It's horrible. You need to go to the doctor to be sure. You will need to give a urine sample (ouch, I know). If confirmed, they will give you an antiboitic and it should start to clear up within 24 hours. Left untreated or treated with home remedies, and it will surely get worse. Good luck.
