At age 57, almost once a day. I miss a day here and there like most men. I still enjoy sex with my wife, too, by the way, and she enjoys masturbation, too.
Ideally, I think once every 3 days is the best. That way, your body has a chance to rest in between and build up a full tank of semen.
Addiction is such an ugly word; we usually associate that word with drugs/alcohol.
I would say that masturbation - besides being a perfectly normal human function for both men and women - is many other things, ranging from simple physical pleasure to stress reduction, sleep aid, to a form of meditation, even, yes, an art form.

Few times a week, depending on my mood. Masturbation is only an addiction if you do it to the exclusion of other activities. Weekly or daily masturbation would hardly be called an addiction. Gazillions of men masturbate every day.

Dude, I do it almost everyday, usually in the morning and at night. I love it!
It's only an addiction when you would prefer to mastrubate over sex. Masturbation is great but you can't beat the real thing.
