Is there any money support or job support? OCD is obsessive compulsive disorder.

Honestly, I really wish that there is some kind of job support in Canada. Where the government offers jobs for the people that suffer from OCD.

Why don't you try your local HRSD (Human Resources and Skills Development) office?

Talk to someone there about your situation. You may be able to go on social assistance as long as you get a medical form filled out by your doctor. They also will set you up with a career counsellor to help you look for work and/or develop your skills. I know that my local office offers computer training courses as well as courses on how to write an effective resume and cover letter..

Also your doctor might be able to refer you to a free outpatient clinic for people with mental illnesses. They often have workshops to help people like you find work and I believe there are also people there who could help you navigate the confusing world of government benefits and job searching.

Good luck, I admire you for striving to help yourself.

There was an article that came out a few years back *by accident* from the government saying that global warming was fake. I had also listened to a seminar about a month ago where a weather "expert" said there is no global warming. We are slightly hurting the environment by our emissions, but nothing like they tell us we are. The last summer (2012) was also record hot because we had a rare occurrence where two volcanoes erupted at the exact same time. All the ash, etc, threw off the balance in our atmosphere, which caused it to be a lot warmer than normal. We also go in cycles. A 30 year cycle, then it goes into 40 years, then back to 30 years, etc. The 30 year cycle has a usual set pattern and same goes for the 40 year. I believe she said we're only a few years into the 40 year cycle. So we could have higher temperatures for the next, let's say, 36 years, and then when we go into the 30 year cycle, we might go back to a lower temperature and weather pattern. Source(s): personal experience at seminar.

Well my understanding of how Canada Medical works, there should be. Since everyone is intitled to the same health care, rich or poor. And Canada , and Europe both had been using a medication of OCD for over 30 years before the USA started to use it , so i would say that they should have some kind of support for people with OCD.

Come to the United States. We don't have socialized medicine. But you can get free medical treatment here!! Every one does!!
And we certainly have disability programs here for those who need assistance. We have job programs where disabled people can work! We also have temporary and long term financial assistance here. Medical care is given same day. You don't go on a list and wait. You might have to deal with some bureaucracy to get financial assistance but you can get. We have shelters here. You can wash your clothes, take a shower, get a meal..until other things come in for you and you get on your feet.

The complaining you hear about the United States is just that, complaining. The hungry people they show you on the TV, living in the mountains in beat up old Mobile Homes are re-runs. Those kids have got to be grown up by now! !

A lot of propaganda goes out in the Media. And these organizations are trying to make money so they have to make it look the worst.

My brother has had OCD for over 40 years and never looked for a handout. Why is everyone always looking for free money?
