I did Tae Bo religiously after I had both of my children. While any work-out that is done regularly will help you lose weight, Tae Bo is better than that! It was for me anyway. After 6 months, I was thinner than before I ever had kids! It's so encouraging and not in that annoying way. The 8 minute workout is a good one to use on days that you really don't have time to work out but you know that if you don't SOMETHING, you'll start slacking off again. It keeps you motivated until your next workout. Tae Bo rocks!!!

I LOVE tae bo. It is great for balance and increases your strength very quickly. And it's good fun! I would agree with the previous answer--the 8 minute workout is only good for getting you off your butt, but it is not sufficient for everyday use. You're better off taking a walk.

Be sure to start VERY slowly, use proper form (you CAN injure yourself with tae bo, and you don't need an excuse to slack off--I know whereof I speak) Only do it on alternate days, walk or do yoga or something in between (it is a very muscle-intensive workout and your muscles need a day to build up between those workouts or you'll get injured and results will come more slowly anyway).

Have fun!

Tae Bo video adventure? sure, my instructor made me do it. Has each person used Tae Bo video clips? sure, see above. What did you imagine? not a lot. I felt extremely stupid doing it. Any fulfillment thoughts? Nope, it did not even get me respiration troublesome. there is not a lot that beats extremely strong troublesome education in a accepted martial arts college. one component for particular Tae Bo would not and that i stumble upon it even extra disgusting that it claims to practice self protection.
