Unfortunately it may never go totally back 100%. All my friends at the gym including myself who've had kids have found that. We all train exceptionally hard as well so it's just one of those things. Isolating a particular area doesn't mean that area will gain the benefit either which is even more frustrating. Just have a healthy eating & exercise regime and don't be so hard on yourself it's only been 4 months. It can take a good year to get back to normal, especially if you breast fed add another 6 months on top to when you stopped feeding. Goodluck!

Are you moderating your daily food intake, or are you eating the same amount of calories as when you were pregnant?

Did you have a c-section, or natural birth?

Have you considered doing pilates? Yoga focuses mostly on stretching and lengthening of the muscles. Pilates focuses on strengthening the core, as well as proper posture.

Poor posture could contribute to the appearance of a bulge at your stomach, rather than a flat abdomen.

Have you tried doing workouts that are specific for the transverse muscle? Also, if I were you I would do some cardio and lose some weight. Pilates too is great but you still need a proper diet.

Good luck!

sorry to say this but you may never get a flat stomach. babies do a number on that general region. keep working out, but yoga might not be enough. try excercizes that concetrate on the abdominal region to retighten some of those muscles, which should improve things.

It's true, you may never get a flat stomach again. Pregnancy changes everything.
