Once the water starts boiling in my rice cooker, I let it cook for 5-6 minutes. After I put it in a bowl and let it cool for a minute..it gets too thick. Am I cooking it too long?

For example, I sometimes add chopped apple.
After the holidays I add my leftover cranberry sauce instead of the apples.
And if I am out of both I add raisins.
And I always add pimientos.
How about you?

I put in the hamburger of course. Then I throw in oatmeal, crushed crackers, instant rice (if we have it), tomato paste, tomato sauce, eggs, ketchup, and seasonings.

THANK YOU!!!

I have been amazed at the amount of fat that the grill takes out. Once it solidifies into the white stuff, it makes me sick to think how my body could have processed that stuff. Anyway, with the large amount of fat that drips out, does this significantly reduce the fat and cholesterol content?

Hi!! Some of my friends in my Bio class and I are doing this thing where each of us takes turns bringing in a snack on Fridays. I need a no-mess food that I can keep in my locker until right before lunch. It needs to be easy to make cause I'm not exactly an advanced cook. Thanx!

I have been trying my hand at several different casseroles, the ones with turn out beautifully but the noodle ones seem a bit gooy. This is what i do add cooked meat, uncooked noodles, soup, some water, spices, veggies and some times top with cheese then bake at about 350 for 35 to 45 mins. Should I cook the noodles first? change temp? any ideas?
