can you make rice krispies without out adding marshmallows?

i think the marshmallows help them stick together. otherwise i think you'd just have rice krispies and butter

I've never made them using marshmallows. I just melt the chocolate in a ban - marie (glass bowl over a pan of boiling water) then take it off the heat and mix in the rice krispies.

Alternatively, you can do it wih corn flakes or add raisins, makes a yummy change.

I've never used marshmallows either.
Either just use chocolate or if you dont want chocolate ones add butter and golden syrup mixture.

You can add melted chocolate to the rice crispies

i am pretty sure you can make rice crispies with out marshmallows because you could substitute it with something else that is o.k. to eat.

no you can't make rice krispies treats w/o marshmellows...like someone said....that would be rice krispies and butter....ummm...well, i guess you could...but don't think i would go for it....

look on the back of the rice crispy box... they usually have some recipes

marshmallows make them stick together but i hate marshmallows so i use golden syrup or honey!! yum :-)

ive never tried it but i bet peanut butter would work in place of marhmallows.
