I have been trying my hand at several different casseroles, the ones with turn out beautifully but the noodle ones seem a bit gooy. This is what i do add cooked meat, uncooked noodles, soup, some water, spices, veggies and some times top with cheese then bake at about 350 for 35 to 45 mins. Should I cook the noodles first? change temp? any ideas?

Yes, cook them first in boiling salted water just until done. Be careful that you don't overcook them. Then rinse them in COLD water and mix with the rest of your casserole ingredients and bake as usual.

Definitely pre-cook the noodles. Perhaps you should reduce the amount of water you're adding to the casserole.

Depending on the style of noodles you're using...

I always pre cook my noodles before putting them in a casserole - I find that it cooks easier and settles better that way.

Noodles in many situations turn to mush if left in a crockpot for long. I regularly only cook dinner noodles on the range in accordance to the kit instructions then upload to regardless of is interior the crockpot top in the previous serving.

I always cook the noodles first. They wont get soggy in the oven, Try cooking them first and layer your casseroles. The real reason you place it in the oven is to cook the entire thing to blend all spices together anyway.

Always cook your pasta before adding to a casserole unless you are making lasagna with the no-cook noodles (Barilla).

Yes, cook them first! Pour them in salted, boiling water, then set the timer for however many minutes it says on the box or bag of pasta. Drain, THEN add to your casseroles.

If they are dry, then absolutely. If they are the fresh and floppy kind, you won't need to.

If you cook them, when you drain them, rinse them in cold water to stop the cooking process. Since they are going to get baked anyway you don't want them to get overdone.
