My son and I fiddle around with cheese making. We are looking forward to a time we can dedicate a more ambitious exploration into it. I like this site ... they also have a free online newsletter. This might be a good place to look. Lots of links and recipes.

I had an easy and fun recipe for making homemade cottage cheese which is so good it makes you think you never really had cottage cheese until you had it. If I can find my copy I will edit and paste it hear as it would be a really fun beginning project for you. Hope this helps you:)
