I am looking for something light, but something really good to serve for dessert at our 4th of July cookout. I like cream cheese recipes and or a good creamy triffle recipe, any suggestions?

I really really really like blueberry muffins now. I got addicted to them at my last baton competition and that was all I ate for breakfast. Does anybody have a recipe?

Besides tacos, nachos, wraps, stir fry. Are there any other ideas? I am starting to dislike eating the chicken on its own.

I had it in a restaurant once a long time ago. It was served in a large martini glass filled with strawberries surrounded and topped with a creamy slightly yellow mousse-like delight. Please help me find a way to re-create it. Thanks.

My husband has been doing some work for these well off people and lady of the house said she would give him a piece of venison from out of her freezer. If she does, I won't know what to do with it or what to serve with it....

I absolutely love pasta, and I'm looking to switch to whole wheat because of the health benefits. However, I've read some pretty mixed reviews about the taste and texture. I know it'll taste different and I'm sure I'll get used to it, but I don't want it to taste like cardboard either!

Soooo.....can you recommend some of your favorite whole wheat pastas?

PS. I'm not looking to cover up the taste with lots of tomato sauce or cheese. Usually, I just have plain pasta tossed with some mixed veggies and sometimes a little parmesan cheese.

Do you cut them up first? Last time I tried to make it, it turned out more like mashed potatoe salad.

Someone told me that the flavor of brewed coffee is MUCH better if eggshells are added to the grounds during the brewing process. Is this nuts, or does it really work? How do you do it? How many eggshells? Do you clean the residue out of the eggshells first? What?

Did you know it is possible to cook without grease or water - even to fry chicken ?

Hi, and YES!
This isn't a joke. You can cook your vegetables and your meats, and your fruits without water or grease, and you can also bake on top of your range instead of heating the whole oven (who wants that during the summer?).
Ask me how.

When I lived alone i wasn't a good cook and enjoyed eating pasta. For a bit of flavour I'd put nothing but tomato sauce on my pasta which was usually penne pasta. My girlfriend thinks it's disgusting when I tell her this.

Hello,
I got two cans of Chili left (Chili Con Carne w/ Beans I guess would be "proper" name) and I'm wondering what can be done with it to make a bigger meal. My mom couldn't think of anything except to add onions and my Sister-in-law thought of the same thing I did, which is making chili dogs.

So after asking the two great cooks of my family I decided to come here. Does anyone have, at least, some ideas if not recipes? Or perhaps even know of a website/page about it?

Thank You!
