Did you know it is possible to cook without grease or water - even to fry chicken ?

Hi, and YES!
This isn't a joke. You can cook your vegetables and your meats, and your fruits without water or grease, and you can also bake on top of your range instead of heating the whole oven (who wants that during the summer?).
Ask me how.

Cooking on hot, dry surface I'd grilling. The term, "fry," literally means to boil in oil. It CAN be healthier, but for some dishes, the hot oil is essential. Baked or grilled chicken is NOT fried chicken. While other methods produce wonderful results, the flavors and textures will not be the same. We can bake strips of potatoes, season them and call them "baked fries," but they will not be real French fries. In Chinese wok cooking, the quick, hot stir frying process is the only way to get the slightly charred and crisply cooked veggies and meat. Oil must be part of that process. Also consider how the frying is done. High heat and fast frying will infuse the food with less oil than lower temps and longer cooking time. What kind of oil makes a big difference.
