Right, I have fresh garlic, garlic butter, tomatoes and red onions. Obviously, I also have bread ^_^

But I want to know what the best way to do this is before I go through with it and just end up with slightly soggy bread with a lot of indistinguishable ingredients on it.

Okay, I'm pregnant and craving some kind of smoothie with milk in it. But I only know of smoothies made with juice and tangy fruits. I'm thinking, coconut, banana, and milk.... but what else? What are other fruits that aren't tangy? Or if anyone has anything else to say about it....

Does anyone have any recipes using canned corn? I'm making it as a side dish tonight, and don't want plain buttered corn or corn bread. Any type of casserole out there that anyone knows of? I haven't had much luck with Allrecipes or Recipezaar. Thanks!

I've never worked with frresh anchovies before. but I want to. Also I want to preserve some with salt for later. Again, must I gut each one...? Are they safe to eat unprocessed? Please don't laugh! I haven't done this before. Thanks to all serious answers!

Or a pound of it.
An acre is about 70 yards square.
OK, I use the small metric units such as anything from a micron to a metre, but after that it is in feet, yards, miles.
Get a couple of pints of milk, I'm asked.so I get a litre.
I recalibrated my speedometer on the car when living overseas, with bits of dymotape, to save on the mental transition to mph.
This is surely all daft.
A dozen eggs should now be sold in packs of ten?
I bought some strips of timber to glorify my boat ceiling a couple of years ago
I wanted stuff two inches wide, and ended up with timber 500mm wide.
It did not fit properly.
I am dismayed that we have to bow to the silly EU directives.
Next, am I allowed to use my 15cm spring onions from the allotement ?
It drives you to the point where you laugh at this silly situation.
What do you reckon ?

im fairly skilled at cooking but by no means a chef, and something reasonable, say with a budget of no more than $30 for both of us. thats without drinks. we are both beer drinkers so a fancy bottle of wine would be useless. but i mean the whole meal otherwise, appetizer, main course, side dishes and dessert. but i want to cook it myself to show her im not some lazy slob that cant do anything right. by the way im 40 and single so i am used to cooking alot for myself. but most of the things i make are just simple things like pot roast or casseroles. i want something a little more impressive than serving her meatloaf and mashed potatoes.
