Hi,

I recently went to a chinease resturant and had duck with pancakes, the pancakes were not the normal sort, they were small and very fluffy in texture, light is also another word to descibe them.

Does anyone know what the name for them is and where I can find a recipe?

I expect I will look it up later, but I am busy right now.

The Okra comes in a frozen packet and it says boil them and add spices later. I have just bunged them in the slow cooker with seared chicken and other veggie and chopped tomatoes and garlic and hoped for the best.

i ordered ingredients from asda to make a chocolate tart with rasperry sauce, but two of the main ingredients couldnt be delivered, so i have had to alter it to products that i already have at hom, would vanilla ice cream, with melted chocolate and raspberry sauce(blended frozen raspberrie) on top be ok, would it be suitable for dessert for tonight?

I'm making Cheesecake bite's for my other half valentines day dessert ... The recipes that I have calls for nilla waffers however I want to make them with graham cracker and Oreo's. I have cinnamon graham crackers ... I know I crumble them and mix them with butter but how much? and do I need to bake them before I put the cheesecake in side? ... Is it the same for the Oreos also?

My boyfriend and I want to start making our own bread rather than purchasing store brought. We were wondering what makes the difference between specialized wheat breads -such as whole grain or seven grain, whole grain oat, etc.- as opposed to simple wheat bread. Also, what gives breads their different textures (for instance some are light and porous, others more condensed)? Any info on where we might further research this would be equally helpful. i follow the usual directions: melt butter, melt marshmallow, turn off fire then add rice krispies and mix. but for some reason they always turn hard after they cool
