I'm making stuffed bell peppers for my fiance his father and myself tonight for dinner. I can't think of anything to go with it as a side dish. I thought about maybe buying some small steaks or filet mignon ... But i'm not sure if that would go well. Can someone please give me some side dish ideas and let me know if I should have a meat to go with it? I'm stuffing the peppers with dirty rice mix.... Thanks

Hey-

I made a mistake ytd at the grocery store. Was supposed to get Mozzarella for a Chicken Parmesan recipe. Instead I got Provolone.
Can I just use that, or do you think it'll mess up the taste of the recipe?
[Chicken Parm is basically breaded chicken w/ spaghetti sauce and melted cheese on top]

I'm cooking a beef tenderloin roast tonight, and the recipe says to use a large roasting pan. Does this mean to use a rack also? Or to just place it on the pan?

What ways does anyone here cook it?

I've looked on line for a possible reciepe and i typed in pig & a blanket and i came back with hot dogs wrapped in crossant dough, My grandma made it when i was a kid a lot and she was lithuianan, I was just wondering if anyone knew how to make it. I heard it possibly could be called "glumpski" (sp?) in polish. I tried to look that up and came back with no results. Any help would be great!!!

The idea is that when the cake is baked it comes out with different colours in it, depending on the food colouring you use, eg pink, green. The cake can have as many colours as you want. You get one cake with different colours, not multi-layered with different colours. My mother used to bake it for us, but now I can't find the recipe and she has passed away
