Saturate some water with sugar, and cook it on low heat on your stovetop, until the water-sugar mixture becomes syrupy. It will work just as good as corn syrup.

it's called a simply syrup easy to make just add one cup sugar to 1/4 cup water heat antil blends well and let cool .
