I'm making Cheesecake bite's for my other half valentines day dessert ... The recipes that I have calls for nilla waffers however I want to make them with graham cracker and Oreo's. I have cinnamon graham crackers ... I know I crumble them and mix them with butter but how much? and do I need to bake them before I put the cheesecake in side? ... Is it the same for the Oreos also?

using those ingredients i would crush about enough of the cookies and crackers that you need then add melted butter slowly just until the mixture sticks together well.
quantities need not be exact.. just mix slowly so you do not overdo the butter. the filling in the oreos could be a bit overwhelming to the crust so i would suggest only using the cookie and not the filling.

Graham Craker Crust

1.In a small saucepan or the microwave, melt 6 tablespoons of butter.
2.Place about 24 graham crackers in a plastic bag. Roll with a rolling pin until finely crushed. This may be done in small batches.
3.Measure 1 1/2 cups of graham cracker crumbs into a medium bowl.
4.Add 1/4 cup of sugar to the graham crackers.
5.Add the melted butter.
6.Stir or blend together with your hands.
7.Press into the pie plate or other pan.
8.To pre-bake the pie crust, bake for 8 to 10 minutes in a preheated 350 degree F. oven.

Oreo Crust
1-1/2 cups finely crushed Oreo cookie crumbs
3 tbsp. melted butter

To make the crust, generously butter a 9 inch glass pie plate. In a large bowl, stir together the cookie crumbs and the melted butter. (You can crush the cookies in a food processor or blender.) Using your fingertips, firmly and evenly press the mixture into the bottom and sides of the pie plate.

Make sure your graham cracker crumbs are finely ground. then, add melted butter until you can squeeze it in your hand, and when you let go, the crust doesn't fall apart, but holds its shape. And no, you don't blind bake the crust, and make sure to bake you cheesecake in a water bath.

i think of it incredibly is termed "manhattan type" Cheesecake. generally, you positioned some cup or so of flour into the cheesecake batter. this would style a mild "crust" (think of of the outer area of a common cake) whilst baked. you will generally use a "springform pan". You conceal the pan in wax paper to take the region of the graham cracker crust. you positioned this on a cookie sheet, yet one with slightly sides that can carry some water. The water will help with even distribution of warmth.

the quantities i don't know. but normally you don t bake it.

it is probably the same amount you would use for nilla waffers. you have to put it in the fridge before putting the cheesecake inside...

if it is for tonight, get your hands on it now so that it will be ready by tonight.
