I have a receipe for "honey nut chicken sticks" (from Rachael Ray's 365 cookbook). It calls for honey nut corn flakes. Kellogg's used to make them but are not discontinued. Does anyone have any ideas for alternatives for this ingredient or know of another brand that makes something equivilant?

Do you think all of the recent food warnings and recalls (Peter Pan Peanut Butter, Oscar Mayer Chicken Strips, tuna and some creme desserts) are an act of bioterrorism?

My boyfriends in a Iraq & in a place that only get mail once every month & a half - 2 months. He's use to me baking things & sending them to him. I lost my mom's cookbook when I moved and can't find those really awesome cookie recipes like she had. I'm looking for chewy peanut butter cookies, massive chewy chocolate chip cookies, and oatmeal raisin cookies that were buttery, chewy and spread nicely.

I've tried recipes from all the standard sites so please don't just cut and paste something you haven't tried yourself. I'm really tired of cookies that don't spread out and get all chewy and golden. If they stay in lumps, my hubby won't eat them. Hoping someone will share their real favorites and not just cut and paste things they never tried for themselves.
