The diner is in Michigan and I believe I got the recipe in an old Family Fun magazine years ago- or maybe Reader's Digest and seem to have lost it. It's wonderful!

I'm looking for a really good salsa recipe, my abuela had one, unfortunately she didn't have it written down and I never got it before she passed on. I don't want some nasty watered down salsa or a sweet mango salsa that the magazines give, I want an authentic Mexican recipe.

Anyone know the difference between these two please. I am making a stew and obviously would use stewing steak but none at store. Is braising steak the same thing really?
Thanks

Has anyone ever made Cordon Bleu? Is it hard and tricky? Any pointers someone who has made this dish can give me? I know the recipe, however, if you have a better one, i'd love for you to share.

I have recently discovered the wonderful world of cooking. I have been trying new things and watching cooking shows for over 3 months now. But, my question is: A: How do you prepare garlic cloves to be minced? I bought one garlic thingie at the supermarket and am not sure how to peel it. B: How long does garlic stay good in the fridge? Someone help!! Thanks! :)

Are there any bags/rolls out there that you can buy in the store that are compatible to the FoodSaver vacuum sealer machines that ACTUALLY WORK just as well? FOODSAVER bags are quite expensive and I want to save a few bucks on bags/rolls. I've been on eBay and are kinda skeptical of the sellers who claims that their bags are so-called compatible. PLEASE, only people who actually have tried the compatibles answer. THANKS!

My brother turned 21 when my mother and I were out of town, he is on a low-carb diet and I would really appreciate a delicious low-carb cake that I could make him as soon as I get back. He only has 20 carbs a day, so if there could be a cake in which servings have less than 20, that would be fantastic! I also dont want any that only give him a sliver of cake, help? Please?

I don't want a regular recipe, I want something that stands out. I have been working with a roasted red pepper chipotle sauce but would like a few more suggestions. It's for a wing cooking contest in Buffalo New York. Thanks
