A cup weighs different amounts according to what you put in it.
If you put something dense and heavy, like flour for example it will weigh more than if you put something like say cornflakes.

it depends...a cup of what? if it was a cup of nuts, it would be heavier than a cup of sugar. i dont know about the butter. i don't understand why u need to know.
