We're having a big birthday bash for my DH and one of his friends this Saturday night. We are preparing a grocery list to shop early Sat morning. We plan to have one big pot of Chili with Fritos, cheese, and other fixin's, but I'm not sure what to put in the Chili!! What's a great recipie that has worked for you, requires little preperation, and can bee cooked in a large pot (like a turkey fryer) on a propane burner?

I took the bag of shrimp out of the freezer at 12 noon today. I would of done it earlier but I slept in. However, I need the shrimp fully thawed by 5. What can I do to make them defrost faster without leaving them in the fridge? I don't know where the heck my colander went, so I can't leave 'em under cold water in it. Can I take a deep shallow dish and have run under cold water in that? Any ideas?

for Sea Foam Candy. I remember my mom used to make it many years ago, but she has since lost the recipe.

When it's finished, it crumbles in your mouth like powered sugar. If anyone could provide me with one that works), i'd really appreciate the help! I have tried several off the internet to no avail. Cheers!
