Cherry Pineapple Crumble
1 20oz. Can Crushed Pineapple (do NOT drain)
1 20oz. Can Cherry Pie Filling
1 Box White or Yellow Cake Mix
1 Stick Butter
1 – 1 ½ Cups Powdered Sugar
Warm Water
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a cake pan (8x13) spread crushed pineapple and juice. Spread cherry pie filling over pineapple. Sprinkle cake mix (dry) over fruit. Cut stick of butter into thin pats and top cake mix with pats of butter. Bake 30 minutes.
After the crumble comes out of the oven mix the powdered sugar with enough warm water to make a glaze. Pour glaze over the crumble. Best served at room temperature. Top with ice cream if desired.

Recipe Source: Cindy Burch
ï· Â½ Stick of Butter
ï· 8 oz. Cream Cheese
ï· 1 c. Powered Sugar
ï· 2 Small Packages of Vanilla Pudding
ï· 3 ½ c. Milk
ï· 1 tub of Cool Whip
ï· 1 bag Oreo Cookies, crushed
Cream butter, cream cheese and powdered sugar. In a separate bowl mix pudding mixes with milk. Add to butter/cheese/sugar mixture. Add cool whip.
Cover bottom of dish with a thin layer of crushed cookies. Add batter. Place a thin layer cookies on top. Add more batter. Continue until you run out of batter. Top with cookies. Be sure top layer of cookies completely covers all batter. Be sure you have cookies for the top. Chill for a few hours until set.
For presentation: This is very effective of being “Dirt” when put in a food friendly flowerpot or dish that resembles such. Stick artificial flowers or grass, etc. to finish effect.

Apple Crumble
INGREDIENTS:
4 cups peeled, cored, sliced apples
1/4 cup water
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup softened butter
PREPARATION:
Place apples in a lightly buttered baking pan or dish, about 10 x 6 or 9-inch square. Add water. Combine flour, sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle crumb mixture over the apples.
Bake apple crunch at 350° for 35 to 45 minutes, or until apples are tender. Serve apple crumble warm with ice cream, if desired. Apple crumble serves 6.

Bread pudding. It only takes white bread, milk, eggs and some cinnamon and nutmeg. It's a custard dish and tastes great with a little whip topping. Look up a recipe on the internet.

Banana Nut bread is yummy and easy to make. I would also prefer traditional chocolate or vanilla cake with frosting on top. MM.. how about double fudge brownies? Cupcakes are easy too.. and muffins are great.

Believe it or not... a chocolate torte is very simply, doesn't take too long, and looks great (presentation is key). You can find several recipes online. Go for one that isn't marred with complicated toppings. Simple chocolate cake torte... its so good too. Try foodtv.com

Snowball Cake
3 envelopes Lucky Whip (2 for inside cake, one for top) (or 6 cups cool whip)
1 (20oz) (2 ½ cups) can crushed pineapple
Juice of one lemon
1 cup sugar
1 cup boiling water
1 large angel food cake
2 TBSP. unflavored gelatin
4 TBSP. cold water
1 bag shredded coconut (optional)
maraschino cherries (optional)
Soften gelatin in cold water. Add boiling water and stir until dissolved. Add sugar, lemon juice and pineapple including juice. Chill until partially firm.
Whip 2 of the envelopes of Lucky Whip (or use 4 cups cool whip) according to the directions on the package. Fold into gelatin mixture.
Line a 13” X 9” X 2” cake pan with wax paper. Cut or break cake into small pieces. Place alternate layers of cake and gelatin mixture in pan until all is used. Chill overnight.
Next morning, prepare the last envelope of Lucky Whip (or use 2 cups cool whip) and spread over the top of cake. Sprinkle with coconut and garnish with marashino cherries. Refrigerate until served..
***Option- you can also divide the coconut in half and color half of it green and half of it red for Christmas and sprinkle it on the cake that way. With the red and/or green marachino cherries garnish or with sugar silver balls (sprinkles)
***Note- 1 med fresh coconut yields enough coconut for 2 cakes.
Elyon Kosher unflavored gelatin 2 box/2cakes
Rich’s frozen non diary whipped topping 32 oz (add one tsp vanilla per cup of topping) yields 1 can for insides of 2 cakes (ie 32oz= 4 cups=> 8 cups whipped + 2 ½ TBSP vanilla (ie. 2 TBSP and 1 ½ tsp. vanilla)
Large Cool Whip 16 oz is enough for one cake .
