I don't want to use alcohol (brandy). Would it be okay to substitute mint extract to make a 'grasshopper tiramisu' or would thee mint conflict with the mascarpone cheese. Or maybe you have some ideas for a different substitute. Thanks.

I have not gone grocery shopping in a while and I am tryin to make some sort of shrimp with pasta and savory sauce dish. However, I am limited to the following ingredients:

Shrimp
Frozen spinash (chopped)
Butter
Oil & Herbs basting
Eggs
Shredded mozzarella
Mayonnaise
Cream cheese
Parmesean
White wine
Mustard
Breadcrumbs
Pan searing flour
Bacon bits
Salt & pepper
Garlic cloves & garlic powder
Olive oil
Pasta (Ziti)
Cream corn
Pasta Sauce (Prego, the red meat sauce)

.... If anyone can think of a recipe including these ingredients only, I'd greatly appreciate. I'm low on money, so I can't really go out and get a few more things. I have no choice but to use these ingredients only! I am trying to whip up something really yummy for my cousin and I. Please don't forget to include a recipe for some kind of savory thick sauce to go over the shrimp and pasta. Thanks a lot.

About 3 hours ago I took some boneless ribs out of the freezer and they are thawing out on the counter for dinner tonight. I have a bottle of barbeque sauce I want to cook them in... should I put them in a glass dish and bake them in the oven, and if so for how long? Or do I need to do it some other way?

I have a bag of 40 small frozen shrimps. I had just put it in the 'fridge to defrost. However, I had made shrimp before but now I am thinking of making a dish combined with shrimp and pasta. It doesnt have to nessacarily be cooked together. My kitchen is pretty empty because I haven't had the chance to go grocery shopping yet. However, I am also looking for a savory thickish sauce to go over the shrimp and pasta. Please help

I'm am very hungry but I am in class right now so I can't eat. Salmon patties sound very good though. If you have never had them, here is a recipe;
1 can (approx. 7 ounces) salmon
1 egg
1/2 cup cracker crumbs (oyster crackers will do, just crush them up real fine)
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 celery stick
1 onion diced
olive oil, enough to cover bottom of skillet

Mix the salmon, onion, celery, crackers, pepper, salt, and egg in a big bowl, then using your hands, make patties with the mixed ingredients, put olive oil in the pan and place one or two patties in the pan at a time. Don't flip the patties! They fall apart easily. Cook till golden brown and once they are done, squeeze some lemon on them. YUMMY!
