Depending on the brand of yeast, it could be anywhere from 2 to 2.5 tsp. When I make bread I measure out 2 heaping tsp of yeast for good measure out of a bulk container. It always works, so there must be a little wiggle room in there.

At the store they sell packets of yeast (3 envelopes stuck together). I don’t know exactly how much is in the pack. But when they talk about one pack they mean just one of those three envelopes. Hope this helps.

Usually, at the mainstream grocery stores, yeast comes in a cluster of little packets (about the size of a sugar packet). Each packet is one serving. If you have purchased yeast a larger denomination (jar or something), the label should tell you how to measure one serving.
