Mix equal amounts of balsamic vinegar and olive oil together and add fresh garlic for a great dipping sauce for sourdough or french bread. Malt vinegar is good over fried fish and chips. Vinegar and oil Italian dressing makes a great chicken wing and chicken marinade. Vinegar can be added to mayonnaise, some sugar, celery salt, and cabbage (red or green) for a great cole slaw.

It is good to make wilted romaine lettuce...first in a skillet some onions and maybe some bacon (optional) or mushrooms in a skillet...then add a big bunch of romaine lettuce leaves , some vinegar and some water and cover with a lid , stirring occaisionally until the lettuce is hot and wilted...very good in cold weather...

Red wine vinegar is great on a salad. White is good on steamed spinach. Malt is great on french fries. Yum ! Hungry now. Gotta go.
