Hi thank for the reply , One question short rib is so much fat then tenderloin and it is very tender, the short rib that I brought is look like grade 6~7 wangyu . it taste great .. the price is the same as tenderloin.

No. Nothing compares to the beef tenderloin. That is why it costs so much. The comparrison you are making is about the equivalent of a rib eye to a filet mignon, completely different tastes and textures.

Short rib beef is tender, but more stringy and prepared a whole different way. It can be done a short ribs or in a stew. Tenderloin in the best center cut used for filet and tips much more like steak.

not at all, i used to be a butcher and the tenderloin is sooo much more tender and costs about 11 bucks more a pound. Beef short ribs arent bad, no beef is bad, but you dont compare it with the tenderlion (filet mignon). the short ribs have more fat

While good, beef short ribs are no where near tenderlion. When you say they are comparable in price I can only assume you are talking about in a resturant - ribs are much cheaper cut of meat but need more preparation and often come in bigger portion thsn tenderlion (filet)

I must agree with all the ones for the tenderloin.
Yes, expensive but soooo worth it. Once you taste the difference you will agree.
