Yeah sure as evreybody has said three months, defrosting should be carried out in a fridge over 24 hours, it will be perfectly safe providing it wasn't kept luke warm or at room temp, in the open for too long.

Yeah you can freeze it no problem, for a max of 3 months. when you want to defrost it just leave it in fridge for a day, but dont try to defrost it slowly in microwave cos that wont go down too well

don't see why not - but might be better if you didnt do the butter icing - and make that bit fresh when you ready to eat! Reduces the risk of sogginess!!

yes you can freeze it just make sure you have it covered with cling film first and use it within 3 months or it will get frost bite you can freeze almost anything ya know

Absolutely. And when you remove it for consumption get a sharp good knife and cut it FROZEN into individual pieces and place on individual plates. They will slightly thaw in a very good presentation.
