Maybe even vegetarian type meals? I have a few picky eaters and on some weekends we have all the kids so there are 7 plus my husband and myself so it would need to be relatively easy and of course healthy, low fat and nutritious. I have one kiddo who hates almost everything except pasta, sandwiches and cereal(of course, it could be also that he just prefers his moms cooking which I can respect). I feel guily trying to make my kids eat foods they don't like but for the sake of their health they need to eat veggies, beans, whole grains, proteins, etc.

So anyone with good recipes for picky eaters would be appreciated.

And please don't just say 'make them eat what you serve'. I've tried that and it seems cruel to watch them sit there so long and then leave the table hungry because after awhile I tell them to just go if they refuse to eat their veggies or whatever. I also have tried withholding any snacks or desserts if they won't eat their dinner - doesn't work either.

Thanks!

I am making a cheesecake for tomorrow for this birthday party I'm going to. I make a mean cheesecake but i stick to what I know. I usually just make plain cheesecake with a filling that goes on top. But I wanna make a chocolate cheesecake but i want to use the same recipe that I use. I want to put chocolate chips in but i don't know if thats such a good idea. Or put in coco powder in or melt chocolate in but i don't want to screw up the sugar amount in it. i use sweet condensed milk as the sugar. What should I do? Thanks for the ideas.

Okay, I'm suddenly stuck at home due to a snowstorm and unable to get out. Today is normal grocery day. I need help figuring out what to make with the fish I have with the limited supplies..

Now, I have two types of fish: Bull fish and (I think) Northern Pike.

What's in my cupboard: ritz crackers, Uncle Ben's rice (Broc. & cheese), salt, pepper, lemon pepper, worcheshire sauce, steak salt, oil, basil, oregano, nutmeg, cinnamon, sugar. Pancake mix.

What's in fridge: Milk, crappy el cheap "American" cheese and eggs, Mudslide in pitcher, and Strawberry Margarita mix, French bread, and italian bread.

I'm single...so forgive me. But I'm sure I'll be starving by tonight so any creative food designers out there? Would love to hear suggestions.

I am not a very good cook and my husband (the cook in the family) is out of town for a couple of days. I need to cook for my son and myself, and I don't want to eat stuff you add water and bake. Sorry if I sound pathetic. Thank you.
