Well, if you have a Arab/Indian/Halal Meat Store/Middle Eastern/Muslim store next to you they should carry it, i'm pretty sure. I live by a lot of stores like that or half restaurant half store places and they sell the gyro meat.

In the grocery stores they have the whole gyros kit now that you can buy and make them at home. It has the pitas, sauce, and the meat in the package. Ask someone that works in your local grocery where they keep them, theyr'e refrigerated.

Gyros have been declared an endangered species. All sale of their meat or body parts is now banned. How anyone could think of eating a cute little fuzzy Gyro is beyond me. It would be like eating baby seals. Poor little Gyros.

Call your local Greek restaurant and order some. Or, most citie's have grocery stores that are culturally sensitive, think China Town, Japan Town, et al...you might look something up in the yellow pages or call your local Chamber of Commerce to see what listings they have. And, then there's that butcher!
