Use 1 cup, so you have your servings correct. Since it calls for uncooked, the pasta may be using the juices of canned goods to cook them. Check the pot occasionally, because you may have to add a little more water before pasta gets done and keep from sticking. Possibly as much as 1/4 to 1/2 c.

It is probably asking for uncooked because the recipe is using the starch in the noodles to thicken your mixture a bit. You can use any type of pasta though, shells, macaroni, ziti, etc. If it's cooked pasta however you may need to thicken your recipe a bit - just wanted to mention it!

The same amount (1 cup). Generally the type of pasta used doesnt matter and you can substitute any kind.

Use the same amountm all the same... some people actually refer to all pasta as noodles, I know my parents did.....
