...the expiration date is only a suggested date as to the freshness of the product...it won't be harmful to your health...

Certainly. The date is a "best by". In setting them manufacturers are always VERY conservative- so it would be months, or perhaps years, before most of us would notice the difference. A product like chili seasoning will not suddenly go bad on a given date - any deterioration that happens will be over a long period of time. Use it and do not worry. Good luck.

I think that companies put a date on spices like that just so the grocery store will have it off their shelves by that date, but they should be good for another month or so, but I don't think that will apply to perishable foods.

Honey, I've used spices that go back to my days right after college! They'll just lose flavour/ impact but that's just one month over the date. It will not have had time to lose flavour so, don't use 2 for one recipe!

Ask the person whom you want to marry, whether he is ready? If yes then go ahead marry and enjoy.Jab mian bibi raji to kiya krega kazi. This is for both of you to see whether you can adjust while being in pune and patiala, one might have to shift.

Its pefectly fine, the date is just when the grocer should stop selling it on the shelf.

It should be fine. And I'm TOTALLY anal about expiration dates on most things... but spices... nah. As long as it's not all clumpy, it should be fine.

I think it would be okay. The potency of it just might not be as strong.

won't kill you, but probably is a little diluted in flavor. when those spices get old they generally won't make you sick, they just don't taste as great.
